Atsuki Maeda’s teaching will focus on the “Essence of Japanese Needle Techniques” in this course.  Basic needle techniques of tonification and sedation will be reviewed and refined.  A myriad of advanced needle manipulation and guide tube techniques of Sugiyama Waichi (inventor of the guide tube) will be taught.  Students will gain confidence and a clear understanding of how to apply/integrate these needle techniques to deliver the ultimate care to the patient; refining and improving their ability to needle gently and effectively.  .
