Atsuki Maeda, DAOM
Atsuki Maeda was born in Tokyo, Japan. He graduated from Goto College of Arts & Sciences in 1988. He holds National licenses in Japan for Acupuncture, Moxibustion, and Anma/Massage/Shiatsu. From 1987-1992 he worked in the Oriental Medicine Department of Kuroda General Hospital.
In 1992, he moved to California, where he obtained his acupuncture license and graduated from Emperor’s College of Traditional Oriental Medicine in 1993 with a Master of Traditional Oriental Medicine (MTOM) degree. In 2013, he earned a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM).
Maeda has been actively teaching and supervising at various acupuncture colleges and universities and is a recognized California CEU and NCCAOM PDA provider, offering postgraduate educational seminars worldwide. His expertise lies in Japanese Acupuncture, utilizing gentle and painless needling techniques, Palpation, as well as non-invasive methods such as Tei Shin, Shoni Shin, and Da Shin.
He is the owner of Golden Ratio Acupuncture Clinic, with locations in Santa Monica and Torrance, California. With over 38 years of practical and 20 years of teaching experience, Maeda Sensei enjoys inspiring and engaging individuals with the spirit of acupuncture.
